Moore Foot & Ankle Specialists has served patients throughout Asheville and the Western North Carolina region since 2004. The practice is led by three board-certified podiatrists, Dr. J. Christopher Moore, Dr. Lily L. Moore, and Dr. Trusha Jariwala, certified in foot surgery and, for two of the doctors, reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery. The team treats diabetic foot wounds, foot pain, foot warts, heel pain, ingrown toenails, bunions, fractures, and ankle sprains, with a particular interest in preventing amputation among patients with diabetes-related complications. Many conditions, including ingrown nails, skin biopsies, and wart treatments, can be handled with minor in-office procedures, while more involved cases may be scheduled as outpatient surgery at the office, a surgery center, or a hospital, with inpatient surgery also available when needed. The practice has expanded to offer regenerative medicine options designed to support the body's natural healing processes and encourage a return to normal activity, used either alone or alongside surgical treatment.
