InStride Comprehensive Foot and Ankle Center, led by board-certified podiatrist Zachary Nellas, DPM, serves patients throughout Charlotte, North Carolina. Dr. Nellas builds individualized treatment plans addressing heel pain, bunions, hammertoes, ankle sprains, fractures, neuromas, ingrown toenails, and tendon injuries through both conservative and surgical approaches, including custom orthotics and Achilles tendon repair. He earned his podiatric medicine degree at Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine, completed a surgical residency at St. John Hospital Macomb Center, and pursued a trauma fellowship in Vienna, Austria, giving him a background in medical and surgical care of foot and ankle conditions, bunions, and diabetic foot problems. Dr. Nellas is a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and is affiliated with Charlotte Surgery Center, Presbyterian Hospital, and Lake Norman Regional Medical Center. The practice welcomes patients age ten and older and maintains Spanish-speaking staff.
