Foot & Ankle East, PC has served Greenville and the broader Eastern North Carolina region since Dr. William D. Respess opened the practice in 2003. Dr. Respess earned his undergraduate degree in biology from East Carolina University before completing his podiatric medical education at Temple University School of Podiatry, followed by a three-year surgical residency at Temple University Hospital, where he served as chief surgical resident in his final year. The practice offers both medical and surgical care for foot and ankle injuries, along with diabetic foot care for patients managing complications related to diabetes. Dr. Respess returned to Eastern North Carolina after his training specifically to establish a private practice serving the region he calls home. The office works with most major insurance plans and welcomes new patients seeking an experienced, locally rooted podiatrist for their foot and ankle needs.
