About Dr. William J Johncock

William J. Johncock, DPM has more than 25 years of experience treating foot-related conditions in children and adults, is surgically trained, and specializes in sports medicine of the foot. He is recognized as a Fellow of the American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine, the only podiatrist in North Carolina to hold that distinction, and is certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. A Michigan native, he earned his bachelor's degree at Michigan State University, attended four years of podiatric medical school in Chicago, and completed his podiatric surgical residency at Baptist Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee, before moving to Hickory, North Carolina in 1994. Dr. Johncock practices with Carolina Podiatry Center in Hickory, treating plantar warts using Swift microwave therapy alongside sports medicine care, and accepts Medicare.
