Amelia Foot and Ankle Doctor is led by Vaughn Blackburn, DPM, a Cincinnati-area native who completed a three-year surgical residency in podiatric medicine and surgery at Jewish Hospital in Cincinnati. His training focused on reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle, individualized diabetic foot care, Charcot reconstruction, and sports injuries, and he currently provides advanced wound care therapies at the Mercy Fairfield wound care center. A graduate of the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine, Dr. Blackburn has experience treating patients across physician offices, wound care centers, surgical centers, and hospitals, and holds membership in the Ohio Foot and Ankle Medical Association, the American Podiatric Medical Association, and the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. His practice serves the Amelia, Ohio community with a focus on both conservative and surgical approaches to foot and ankle care.
