Northeast Ohio Foot, Ankle & Wound Center Inc. serves patients from two offices, a location in Brookfield Township as well as a Warren office, under the direction of James J. LaPolla Jr., DPM. Dr. LaPolla is a board-certified physician of podiatric medicine who has practiced in the region since graduating from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine, and he holds staff privileges at Akron Children's Hospital, allowing him to provide surgical and medical foot and ankle care across several hospital campuses in the Warren, Howland, Boardman, and Akron areas. The practice treats a wide range of everyday foot and ankle problems, including Achilles tendonitis, ankle sprains, arthritis, bunions, corns, heel spurs and plantar fasciitis, ingrown toenails, neuromas, toenail fungus, and warts, alongside diabetic foot care and wound management. Dr. LaPolla is also active with the American College of Foot & Ankle Pediatrics, reflecting an interest in care for younger patients as well as adults.
