Foundation Foot & Ankle, led by Dr. Lee Russell Sayner, DPM, FACFAS, has served the Dover and New Philadelphia area, including Tuscarawas and neighboring counties, since 2004. Dr. Sayner is board certified in foot surgery and in reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery, and completed his surgical training at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, a Harvard Medical School affiliate. The practice treats both adults and children for a wide range of conditions, including heel and arch pain, bunions, hammertoes, ingrown toenails, warts, and flat feet, along with fractures, sprains, and Achilles tendon injuries. Diabetic patients are supported with dedicated foot care, wound management, and therapeutic diabetic shoes, while custom orthotics are fitted using 3-D digital foot scanning technology. On-site digital X-ray and a surgical procedure suite allow much of the diagnostic and treatment process to happen in one visit, and the office works with Medicare, Medicaid, and most major insurance plans.
