Advanced Podiatry has served Austintown, Columbiana, and the Warren, Ohio area, including its Howland and Champion offices, as a family-owned practice under Dr. Thomas Ashdown and Dr. Diana Karnavas, who bring a combined total of more than 50 years of podiatric experience. Both physicians are board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgeons and hold Certified Wound Specialist credentials, treating conditions from bunions, hammertoes, and ingrown or deformed toenails to flat feet, degenerative joint disease, ligament and tendon problems, nerve-related foot pain, fungal infections, warts, ganglion cysts, and foot and ankle injuries. Over 70 percent of procedures are performed in the practice's own in-house operatory, supported by in-house X-ray and shockwave therapy capabilities that reduce the need for outside referrals. Advanced Podiatry also operates its own wound care clinic and offers emergency treatment, sports medicine services, and orthotic and prosthetic fittings, along with diabetic shoes and other foot care products carried directly in its offices.
