Dr. Brian Ashdown is originally from Monterey Park, California. He attended Brigham Young University and received a BS in Microbiology with a minor in Chemistry in 1992, then researched at a molecular biology laboratory at the University of Southern California for a year before attending podiatry school. In 1997, he received his Podiatry degree with Pi Delta honors from the California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco, followed by a two-year surgical residency in Los Angeles, after which he moved to Albany, Oregon in 1999 to begin his practice. Dr. Ashdown is board certified in foot surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and the Oregon Podiatric Medical Association, practicing with Albany Foot Clinic.
