Evan M. Ross, DPM is a podiatrist at Optima Foot and Ankle in Bend, Oregon. A native of the Appalachian mountains, he grew up on a small horse farm outside Elkins, West Virginia, and earned a bachelor's degree in animal veterinary sciences from West Virginia University. Dr. Ross went on to earn his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from Kent State College of Podiatric Medicine in Independence, Ohio, then completed three years of surgical and outpatient-based residency training in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery at St. Mary's Hospital in Passaic, New Jersey. He is board certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and practices with an emphasis on patient education and conservative care as first-line treatment. In his spare time, Dr. Ross enjoys fly fishing, playing guitar, and hiking.
