Highpoint Foot & Ankle Center serves the Chalfont, Doylestown, and Hatboro areas of Bucks County, Pennsylvania, with a team led by Melissa Malamed, DPM, FACPM, and Daniel Cohen, DPM, FACFAS, both board-certified and each bringing more than two decades of experience to the practice. Dr. Malamed focuses on sports medicine and extracorporeal shockwave therapy, while Dr. Cohen specializes in forefoot surgery, including bunion, hammertoe, and heel spur correction, along with diabetic limb salvage and wound care, and heads the podiatry department at Doylestown Hospital. The practice treats plantar fasciitis, heel pain, bunions, hammertoes, ingrown and fungal toenails, diabetic neuropathy, fractures and sprains, arthritic foot conditions, flat feet, Morton's neuroma, and plantar warts, using digital X-ray imaging, MLS laser therapy, shockwave treatment, Topaz coblation, and minimally invasive surgical techniques. Pediatric and diabetic foot care are also offered, and same-day appointments are available for urgent foot and ankle concerns.
