About Dr. Tresa Wize

Dr. Tresa Wize is a fellowship-trained foot and ankle surgeon originally from the Orlando, Florida area, where she earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of Central Florida. She attended Barry University's College of Podiatric Medicine in Miami, graduating with Pi Delta National Honors, then completed her three-year surgical residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, training in forefoot, rearfoot, and ankle surgery and reconstruction, trauma, plastic surgery, advanced wound care, and diabetic limb salvage. She then completed a one-year fellowship in Reconstructive Foot and Ankle Surgery and Diabetic Limb Salvage under Dane K. Wukich, MD. Dr. Wize is employed by HVMG Orthopedics of Beaver, PA and serves as Assistant Director of the Heritage Valley Beaver Podiatric Surgery Residency Program, and also practices at the Heritage Valley Wound Care Center, where she is certified in Hyperbaric Oxygen therapy.
