Dr. Eugene Shagas joined Chestnut Hill Podiatry Associates in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in 2013. He earned his undergraduate degree in cell molecular biology at the University of Washington in Seattle and graduated from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in 2010. Dr. Shagas completed a rigorous three-year surgical residency at Roxborough Memorial Hospital, serving as Chief Resident and receiving comprehensive training in forefoot, rearfoot, and ankle surgery. He is double board certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and the American Board of Podiatric Medicine, and he remains actively involved in teaching surgical residents and students, along with continuing his education through medical seminars and workshops. When he is not at work, Dr. Shagas enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, traveling, playing tennis, and spending time outdoors.
