North Hills Foot and Ankle Center is a family-owned podiatry practice that has served the greater Pittsburgh area since 1983, now led by Dr. Stephen J. Drozda and Dr. James F. Brungo. Dr. Drozda trained in reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery at University Hospitals in Cleveland, while Dr. Brungo, a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons since 1993, has served the community for over four decades. The practice diagnoses and treats plantar fasciitis and other causes of heel and ankle pain, arthritis, tendonitis, bunions, hammertoes, ingrown toenails, flat feet, neuromas, toenail fungus, corns, calluses, and warts. Diabetic foot care includes comprehensive screenings and wound management to help prevent infections, ulcers, and amputations, and the office also offers foot and ankle surgery, custom orthotics, and dedicated pediatric and geriatric foot care. Same-day appointments are offered for patients who need to be seen promptly.
