About Michael C. Edwards Jr, DPM

Dr. Michael Edwards, Jr. is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. A native of Conway, South Carolina, he received his undergraduate degree from Wofford College, and his Master of Science and Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from Barry University in Miami, Florida, where he was named top clinical student of his graduating class. Following his residency, he served in the U.S. Army as a Captain and Chief of Podiatry at Moncrief Army Hospital, and has been published in the Journal of the American Podiatric Medical Association. He practices with Podiatry Associates of Beaufort in Beaufort, South Carolina, treating plantar fasciitis, bunions, plantar warts, toenail fungus, corns and calluses, and ingrown toenails, offering diabetic foot care and diabetic shoes.
