About Dr Tom Ries

Tom Ries has practiced foot and ankle medicine and surgery in Rapid City, South Dakota for over thirty years, operating a private practice after previously serving at Rapid City Medical Center and Black Hills Community Health. He is doubly board certified, holding certification from both the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and the American College of Foot and Ankle Orthopedics and Medicine. Dr. Ries completed his medical training at Kent State University and his residency at the University of Colorado/VAMC, and he also served as a faculty member at a college of osteopathic medicine. He works with patients to help them navigate the healthcare system while addressing foot pain, drawing on decades of clinical experience. An active member of the Black Hills community, Dr. Ries is known for helping patients stay active and enjoy life.
