Aloe Foot and Ankle is a family-owned, solo-physician practice in Hermitage, Tennessee, founded by Dr. Kara Brock, a board-certified foot and ankle surgeon. Dr. Brock trained in advanced diabetic limb salvage and reconstructive surgery during her residency at the Southern Arizona VA Health Care System and later served rural patients as a podiatric surgeon at a critical access hospital in Arizona before returning to Tennessee. The practice provides both surgical and nonsurgical care for diabetic foot conditions, chronic wounds, bunions, hammertoes, flatfoot correction, heel pain, plantar fasciitis, fractures, and nail and skin disorders, with an emphasis on limb preservation for high-risk patients. Same-day appointments are often available for patients needing prompt attention. Dr. Brock aims to treat each person individually rather than working from a standard checklist, and she brings a research background in diabetic wound care and amputation prevention to her clinical work.
