Dr. April earned her podiatric medicine degree from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine and completed a three-year podiatric surgical residency in Southfield, Michigan, and she treats a broad range of conditions medically and surgically, including Achilles tendon injuries, ankle instability and sprains, bunions, corns and calluses, flat feet, fractures, fungus toenails, hammertoes, heel pain and heel spurs, ingrown toenails, neuromas, plantar fasciitis, and posterior tibial tendon dysfunction. The practice also manages diabetic foot issues and infections and offers custom orthotics. Dr. April, a recipient of several Nashville business and leadership honors, is known for taking time to explain conditions thoroughly so patients understand their care.
