Michele J. Whittaker, DPM, is Board Certified in foot surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. She is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and the Tennessee Podiatric Medical Association. Dr. Whittaker received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Illinois State University in 1988, graduated in 1994 from the College of Podiatric Medicine & Surgery at Des Moines University with a Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine, and completed her residency at Podiatry Hospital of Pittsburgh in 1997. Her practice focuses on diabetic wound care and general podiatric conditions such as ingrown toenails and heel pain. She is on staff at Centennial Hospital and St. Thomas Midtown Hospital, practicing with Nashville Family Foot Care, which has served the Nashville community for over 26 years.
