Lacey Clawson, DPM, FACFAS practices podiatric medicine and surgery at Abilene Sports Medicine and Orthopedics' South Abilene location. A native of Stamford, Texas, she earned her biomedical science degree from Texas A&M before completing her Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine at Des Moines University and a three-year foot and ankle surgical residency at Scott and White. As part of a multi-specialty orthopedic group that also includes hand, knee, hip, spine, and general orthopedic care, Dr. Clawson treats a wide range of conditions affecting the foot, ankle, and lower leg. She is a member of the Texas Podiatric Medical Association, the American Podiatric Medical Association, and a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. The practice offers durable medical equipment, imaging, fracture care, and physical therapy across its South and North Abilene locations, supporting patients through both conservative and surgical treatment paths.
