Dr. Dharmesh "Dan" Bhakta, DPM, FACFAS, has practiced at Accent Podiatry Associates in Arlington, Texas, since joining the practice in 2002. He began his medical journey at the University of California, Riverside, earning a degree in Biochemistry with a minor in Mathematics, before pursuing his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine at the California School of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco, graduating in 2000. Dr. Bhakta completed a podiatric internship at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York, followed by a residency in podiatric surgery at Englewood Hospital in New Jersey. He is board certified in foot surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery, a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, and holds Wound Care Certification from the Woundcare Education Institute, remaining actively engaged with the American Podiatric Medical Association.
