Dr. Duane D. Galindo is a board-certified podiatrist with The Foot Institute, a multi-location practice serving El Paso from offices on Castellano Drive and at several other sites across the city. A UTEP graduate who earned his podiatric medicine degree from Midwestern University, Dr. Galindo treats a comprehensive range of conditions including plantar fasciitis and heel spurs, bunions, hammertoes, ingrown and fungal toenails, plantar warts, corns, calluses, Morton's neuroma, flat and high arches, Achilles tendonitis, ankle sprains, gout, and peripheral neuropathy. His training included extensive work in diabetic foot care, elective and non-elective surgery, and sports medicine during residency at UT Health Science Center San Antonio. The Foot Institute offers on-site imaging, custom orthotics, laser therapy, regenerative treatments such as PRP and stem cell injections, and dedicated wound care technologies including UltraMIST and Swift wart therapy. Walk-in, same-day, and next-day appointments are available for diabetic patients and acute injuries.
