Dr. Scott Floyd is a board-qualified podiatrist and wound care specialist at Academy Foot & Ankle Specialists in the DFW metroplex, specializing in diabetic wound care and ulcer care with comprehensive training in both elective and non-elective foot surgery. After graduating from Houston Baptist University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, he earned his medical degree at Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio, followed by a three-year medical and surgical residency with the Department of Veterans Affairs in Salem, Virginia. Since completing his residency, Dr. Floyd has trained extensively in complex foot trauma, lower extremity sports medicine, and diabetic surgical correction, including advanced training at the Foot and Ankle Clinic of the Virginias in Blacksburg, Virginia. He practices at the Flower Mound, Texas office.
