Current podiatrists Dr. Mohammed Farooqui, a double board-certified physician and surgeon, and Dr. Daren M. Guertin, board certified with more than twenty years of experience, treat heel pain, foot and ankle fractures, ingrown and fungal toenails, bunions, hammertoes, and nerve pain, along with sports-related injuries and diabetic foot care. The practice takes a whole-body approach, considering how issues elsewhere, such as the lower back, can contribute to foot pain, and maintains a referral network with physicians specializing in infectious disease and vascular conditions for complex cases. Custom orthotics and wound care round out the treatment options available. Patients of all ages, from infants to seniors, are seen at the Deer Park and Houston offices, with some traveling from outside the area for care.
