Irving Foot and Ankle continues a legacy of podiatric care in Irving, Texas, building on the practice previously known as Southwest Podiatry under Dr. Samuel Nava. Today the office is led by Dr. Aamir Ahmed, DPM, and Dr. Venkatramesh Medapati, DPM, who treat bunions, heel pain, plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendinitis, ingrown toenails, toenail fungus, nerve pain, ankle sprains, and stress fractures. The practice offers both conservative and surgical treatment options, along with custom orthotics and care for sports-related injuries, with the shared goal of relieving pain and restoring mobility so patients can return to the activities they enjoy. Many foot and ankle problems, the practice notes, can be treated without surgery and even prevented altogether with proper guidance. Irving Foot and Ankle accepts HMO and PPO plans as well as Medicare and most other insurance, continuing to serve the Irving community with the same commitment to quality care established by its predecessor practice.
