Chanel J. Perkins, DPM is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Rehabilitation at UTMB Health, practicing foot and ankle podiatry with clinic access in the League City, Texas area. Board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine, Dr. Perkins treats diabetic foot conditions, wound care needs, ingrown and fungal toenails, plantar warts, gout, plantar fasciitis, heel and arch pain, neuromas, corns and calluses, hammertoes, bunions and bunionettes, athlete's foot, and tendinitis. She earned her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine and completed her residency in podiatric medicine and surgery at Yale-New Haven Hospital and the VA Connecticut Healthcare System. Dr. Perkins is active in the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and the Texas Podiatric Medical Association, and she has volunteered extensively with community health programs, including Healthcare for the Homeless in Houston.
