Dr. Eugene Stautberg III is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in foot and ankle care, seeing patients in Pearland, Sugar Land, Baytown, and the Texas Medical Center in Houston. A native Houstonian, he earned his engineering degree from the University of Texas at Austin and his medical degree from McGovern Medical School before completing an orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston and a foot and ankle fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis. Dr. Stautberg treats Achilles tendon injuries, fractures, ankle instability, arthritis, bunions, tendonitis, and foot and ankle deformities, and he addresses complex reconstructions ranging from flatfoot deformity to total ankle replacement and external frame surgery. He also performs minimally invasive bunion surgery and treats midfoot and forefoot pathology, including big toe arthritis. Dr. Stautberg is a member of the American Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Society and the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, and he holds hospital privileges at Houston Methodist and HCA Houston Healthcare - Pearland.
