Associated Foot & Ankle Specialists of San Antonio, P.A. is led by Richard C. Adam, DPM, FACFAS, a San Antonio native who trained at the Illinois College of Podiatric Medicine and completed a foot surgery residency at UTHSCSA, where he later served as Assistant Director of the Podiatric Residency Program in the Department of Orthopaedics. Dr. Adam is board certified in foot and ankle surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He holds a clinical professorship at UTHSCSA, was appointed by the Governor of Texas to the State Board of Podiatry Examiners, and has lectured on foot problems in several countries. Based in Balcones Heights near San Antonio, the practice welcomes patients of all ages and works with most major insurance plans, giving area residents access to an experienced, credentialed foot and ankle specialist for their podiatric needs.
