About Karina Loya, DPM

Dr. Karina Loya, DPM, was born and raised in El Paso, Texas, and now practices at an award-winning podiatry practice in Waco, Texas, serving Central Texas for more than 20 years. She graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Science in 1993 and received her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences in Des Moines, Iowa in 1997. Dr. Loya completed her surgical residency at the Harris County podiatric surgical residency program in Houston, Texas, and is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, board certified in foot surgery. She performs elective, traumatic, endoscopic, arthroscopic, pediatric, and reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle, and is fluent in Spanish.
