Podiatrist in Motion, founded in 2015 by Dr. Gregory Cardinal, DPM, MS, FACPM, brings board-certified foot and ankle care directly into patients' homes, offices, or hotels across Alexandria, Arlington, Centreville, Falls Church, Fairfax, Gainesville, Leesburg, Reston, and Warrenton, Virginia. Rather than operating a traditional office, the mobile practice evaluates and treats common conditions such as plantar fasciitis, heel pain, bunions, hammertoes, flat feet, Achilles tendonitis, ankle sprains, Morton's neuroma, and arthritis, along with skin and nail issues like ingrown toenails, corns, calluses, plantar warts, and toenail fungus. Dr. Cardinal offers diabetic foot care, pediatric foot care, custom and prefabricated orthotics, laser treatment for fungal nails, and medical pedicures, with emergency house calls available outside standard business hours, including weekends. The house-call model is designed for patients who find it difficult to reach a traditional office or who want a more unhurried, personalized diagnosis and treatment plan.
