Brandon M. Scharer, DPM is a board-certified foot and ankle surgeon with Orthopedics & Sports Medicine BayCare Clinic, seeing patients at locations including Aurora Medical Center - Bay Area in Marinette, Wisconsin. He has practiced in northeastern Wisconsin for more than 13 years, following fellowship training in foot and ankle surgery at the University of Washington's Harborview Medical Center. Dr. Scharer specializes in total ankle replacement and has a particular interest in ankle arthritis, ankle instability, and complex reconstruction, performing both primary and revision foot and ankle surgeries. His areas of focus also include 3D bunion correction using the Lapiplasty system, ankle arthroscopy, Brostrom ankle stabilization, flatfoot and high-arch foot reconstruction, and cartilage restoration. Dr. Scharer is board certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery in both foot surgery and reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery, and he regularly publishes research on foot and ankle topics.
