Dr. Isaac J. Trejo founded Community Foot & Ankle Clinic (CFAC) in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in the mid-1990s, after training at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine. The clinic has grown to bring podiatric care directly to patients at independent living, assisted living, and group home facilities throughout the community, in addition to its Milwaukee office. Services include diabetic foot care, nail trimming, ingrown toenail treatment, corn and callus care, wound care, heel and arch pain management, hammertoe treatment, and custom-fit orthotics, along with diabetic shoes through Dr. Comfort that are covered by Medicare for eligible patients. Managed foot care exams include a comprehensive foot overview, arch analysis, and shoe sizing. CFAC bills through Medicare, Medicaid, and most other insurance plans, and its facility-based visits are scheduled on a consistent, recurring basis for continuity of care.
