Wisconsin River Orthopaedics has provided orthopaedic care to Wisconsin Rapids and the surrounding communities since 1968, with a second location serving Marshfield. The practice's team includes foot and ankle specialist Tyler Sorensen, DPM, alongside orthopedic surgeons and advanced practice providers who together treat conditions such as foot and ankle injuries, hand and wrist conditions, shoulder injuries, spine conditions, arthritis, and carpal tunnel syndrome. A dedicated sports medicine team cares for athletes dealing with ACL injuries, meniscus tears, rotator cuff injuries, fractures, and other sports-related conditions. Wisconsin River Orthopaedics offers on-site Open MRI imaging for patient comfort and convenience, along with physical and occupational therapy and a fully accredited on-site surgery center for outpatient procedures including arthroscopy and joint replacement. The organization holds Advanced Total Hip and Knee Replacement Certification from the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and The Joint Commission, one of only two ambulatory surgery centers in Wisconsin to receive that distinction.
