Dr. Candice Cooper grew up in Southeastern Washington and attended the University of Washington, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, before going on to Des Moines University College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery for her doctorate. She completed a three-year surgical residency in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery with Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery at Hennepin Healthcare in Minneapolis, followed by a surgical fellowship in Reconstructive Foot and Ankle Surgery in Phoenix, Arizona. Dr. Cooper has a special interest in sports injuries, trauma, arthroscopy, and reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, and is board certified in both Foot Surgery and Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. She practices at McVay Foot & Ankle in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
