McVay Foot & Ankle, founded in 2001 by Dr. Jeremy McVay in Colorado Springs, provides advanced and comprehensive podiatric care alongside co-provider Dr. Candice Cooper. Both physicians are board certified in foot surgery and reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery through the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, and Dr. McVay is among a small number of surgeons nationwide trained in total ankle replacement surgery. The practice treats plantar fasciitis, heel and arch pain, heel spurs, peripheral neuropathy, fungal and ingrown toenails, Achilles tendinitis, and stress fractures, and Dr. McVay specializes in bunions, hammertoes, and forefoot and rearfoot reconstructive procedures. Services include custom orthotics, diagnostic ultrasound, diabetic foot and wound care, and MLS laser therapy, with nonsurgical treatments pursued whenever possible before turning to surgery.
