About Ralph J. Wentz, DPM
Dr. Ralph Wentz opened his Salida, Colorado practice in 1994 and has since provided more than 35 years of gentle, expert foot, ankle, and lower-leg care. An avid skier and competitive mountain biker, he decided as a 15-year-old ski patroller in Pennsylvania that he wanted to help heal the injuries he witnessed on the mountain. Dr. Wentz received his medical training at Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia and completed his residency in trauma and reconstructive foot and ankle surgery at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio. He previously worked in Colorado Springs. He is board certified in foot surgery and reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and is a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
