About Dr. Sarah Russell
Dr. Sarah Russell, a native of Overland Park, Kansas, opened Prairie View Foot and Ankle in Leawood, Kansas in 2023. She graduated from the University of Kansas with a BA in Human Biology in 2007, then attended the Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University in North Chicago, Illinois. She completed her residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital in New Haven, Connecticut, with advanced training in foot and ankle reconstructive surgery, serving as Chief Resident in her final year. She returned to Kansas to practice in 2016 and holds double board certification from the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery in both foot and reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery.
