Prairie View Foot & Ankle was founded in 2023 by Dr. Russell, an Overland Park native who returned to Kansas in 2016 after completing her podiatric medical training at the Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University and a residency in foot and ankle reconstructive surgery at Yale-New Haven Hospital, where she served as chief resident. Based in Leawood, Kansas, the practice emphasizes personalized care built around each patient's individual goals and activities. Dr. Russell holds double board certification from the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery in both foot surgery and reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery, and is also board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine. She serves on the Kansas Board of Podiatric Medicine and as a physician advisor to Overland Park Surgery Center, and holds hospital privileges at Overland Park Regional Medical Center, St. Luke's South Hospital, and Menorah Medical Center.
