Born and raised in Dearborn, Michigan, Dr. Hassan Alkhalil's journey to becoming a foot and ankle surgeon is rooted in his local community. After completing his Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences at the University of Michigan-Dearborn, he earned his Master's in Biomedical Sciences from Midwestern University near Chicago, then attended Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine, where he received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree. Dr. Alkhalil completed a three-year surgical residency at Ascension Providence Hospital in Southfield and Novi, Michigan, honing his skills in reconstructive surgery with a special focus on diabetic limb salvage, minimally invasive surgery, and sports medicine. He now practices at Epic Foot & Ankle in Dearborn, treating plantar fasciitis, bunions, ingrown toenails, fractures, arthritis, and hammertoes, offering sports medicine, wound care, diabetic foot care, and foot and ankle surgery.
