Prashant H. Bhoola, DPM practices at Newman-Thiele Foot and Ankle Associates, also operating as Somerset Foot and Ankle, in Bridgewater, New Jersey, where he now serves as Chief of Podiatry at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital-Somerset. He earned his podiatric medical degree from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine and completed a residency in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery at the Crozer-Keystone Health System near Philadelphia, later training alongside the team podiatrist of the Philadelphia Eagles. Dr. Bhoola is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and is board certified in foot surgery, treating patients from childhood through older age with both conservative and surgical approaches to bunions, hammertoes, flat feet, ingrown and fungal toenails, plantar fasciitis, arthritic conditions, and Achilles and ankle injuries. He was among the first doctors to bring minimally invasive bunion surgery to RWJ-Somerset, and he manages complex lower extremity wounds as part of the hospital's Center for Wound Healing team.
