Dr. Robert P. Thiele completed a BA in Biology from Arcadia University and earned his podiatric medical degree from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine, and now practices with Somerset Foot And Ankle in the Bridgewater, New Jersey area. He completed his residency in Reconstructive Foot and Ankle Surgery at Hoboken University Medical Center, serving as Chief Resident, and was additionally trained by team podiatrists for the New Jersey Nets, New Jersey Devils, and New York Football Giants. He is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and served as Chief of the Podiatry Section at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital-Somerset for 13 of the past 25 years, and is co-medical director of its wound care team.
